Server Rules
Please read the rules before playing
We are an organization duly registered with the Ministry of the Interior and subject to tax records. Our servers run on open-source projects MaNGOS and Trinity Core on Ubuntu / Debian. All voluntary contributions are duly recorded and information about your personal data is not provided to third parties, except in the case of criminal offenses.
General server rules
ZERO RULE
The user is required to read the rules including amendments before joining the community. Ignorance of rules is no excuse. Neither GM nor Admin will give weight to the fact that you did not know about a rule. The player is fully aware of their duties and rights.
- The player is required to follow all rules.
- The player is required to read updated and newly added rules.
- The player is required to follow event and in-game action rules.
- The player is required to follow the valid laws of the Czech Republic and the Constitution of the Czech Republic.
No teleporting to Program and GM Island
Also forbidden to teleport to the opposing faction's Guild House – credible evidence of violation required.
No entering another guild's GH
Applies to the same faction unless approved by responsible guild members.
No use of hacks, cheats and third-party programs
Any program breaking or affecting the game system, players, server, database or passwords is strictly forbidden. Damage caused will be reported to the Czech Police.
No exploiting bugs in the game
The player is required to report any bug immediately to GM or on the forum. Exploiting bugs for personal gain or spreading them results in a ban.
The player is responsible for their account
For their account (acc), characters, passwords and all information. Any rule violation by a character affects exclusively the account owner.
GM will NEVER ask for your password
Never share your password or other login information with anyone. GM will find everything they need themselves.
Remember your contact information
GM is not obligated to track or change forgotten login details. The password is sent to the email provided at registration.
Playing on the server is at your own risk
Lost items, levels, xp etc. due to server crash, game error or your carelessness CANNOT be refunded.
No vulgar or offensive nicknames
Characters with racist or offensive nicknames will be permanently banned. Racist attacks will be reported to the Czech Police.
No nicknames imitating GM or Admin
A character with a nickname imitating GM, Admin or server owner receives a permanent ban.
Rules for public channels
If the player uses the channels, they are required to follow the rules: no spam, no insults, no CAPS LOCK, no advertising, no account trading and no promotion of other servers.
No impersonating GM or Admin
Any impersonation of a person managing the server is strictly forbidden.
Polite behavior to server administrators
The player is REQUIRED to behave politely and with respect to all administrators (Owner, Admin, GM) — in-game, on the forum and in any communication.
Do not harm other players
The player should behave in a way that does not cause damage or harm to other people.
Consideration when communicating with GM
If GM does not reply immediately, it does not mean they are ignoring you. You have the right to politely remind them of an unresolved issue.
No disturbing GM with DND/AFK
If a GM does not wish to be contacted, it is forbidden to disturb or spam them.
GM does not answer questions about the game world
Questions like "where do I find...", "how do I do..." the player must find out themselves — from players, forum or the internet.
Handling insults and spam from other players
The IGNORE LIST is used for blocking players. GM only handles severe insults targeting family, race, gender or religion.
Materials with rule violations
Visible rule violations on screenshots or other materials may lead to punishment of all involved.
Responsibility for provided material
The player personally bears responsibility for the screenshot or material they provide to GM. Persons violating rules in the screenshot may be banned.
Rules for tickets
A ticket must be clear, understandable and polite. No spam or misuse of the ticket for other purposes.
Bans are handled on the forum
Violation of forum rules may lead to a game ban. In exceptional cases, the player may be excluded from all projects.
GM may issue an exceptional punishment
In exceptional cases of obvious intentional rule violations, GM may issue up to a permanent ban.
Punishments may vary
GM considers the degree of violation, circumstances, previous behavior and good behavior when determining punishment.
GM must provide evidence to admin
GM is not required to provide evidence directly to players.
Right to play for free
The player has the right to play for free if they do not violate rules or Czech laws. In case of law violations, the case will be handed over to state authorities.
Freedom and personal opinion
The player has the right to freedom and personal opinion as long as it does not violate rules or the freedom of others.
No asking GM for items and gold
An exception is fixing characters with a demonstrable bug.
Right to privacy and data protection
Owner, Admin and GM commit to handling player personal data carefully and not disclosing it without consent.
Right to use the forum
The player is aware that violating forum rules may lead to in-game punishment.
Accounts and characters are property of Project-Nemesis
The player's acc and characters are not their property. Decent players who follow the rules need not fear losing characters.
Ban across services
Rule violation on one service may lead to a ban on all other project services.
Duty to report rule violations
The player is required to report behavior by another player that violates the rules. Failure to report may lead to the same punishment.
No VPN and IP hiding
Forbidden to connect via means hiding or altering player information. Misuse of dynamic IP will be reported to the provider.
No claim to accounts
Playing on project-nemesis.cz servers does not create any legal claim to registered accounts or characters.
37. GOLDEN RULE
Read the rules with all amendments once more and make sure you understand everything. Decent players who follow the rules need not fear anything and can play in peace.
